Jacques Malvestio was born in 1949. His father is Venetian and his mother is from Barbizon .
Jacques Malvestio went to the school "Art & Nature" at Barbizon which had opened in 1972 by the painter Daniel Rouvière.
Daniel ROUVIERE (1913-1985) discovered a young sensitive man who has an accurate drawing. He soon had the feeling that Jacques had an artistic vocation, therefore he chose him as his spiritual son. Every week, until Daniel Rouvière's death, they had a lot of very interesting discussions during which Daniel Rouvière gave him all his picturial and philosophical knowledge. Since this time Jacques MALVESTIO devoted his time to painting.
